Love this game! Not only does it do what its supposed to, it is very funny - even for grown-ups!

There are 3 different styles of playing. 1. The doodle hangman might stick his tongue out at you, shake his fist at you, or even try to run away (but the noose stops him) when you guess wrong letters. When you get the word right, he might pull out a dagger and cut himself down, then kick the executioner and run off the screen. Sometimes he cries when the executioner gets drawn and then he begs you. Its different every time. This mode is hilarious. 2. The snowman starts off complete and loses his scarf and carrot nose (etc.) with each wrong letter. While the snowman is very seasonal, he doesnt do anything fun. 3. Flower Power starts off with a complete flower, which loses a petal with each wrong letter. Like the snowman, it doesnt do anything thing special when you win. I love this app just for the different things the doodle hangman does. Its worth it just for the humor.

Im retired and need the stimulus for the mind. This is one of my exercises for the day....Love it....

I would love to see the little guy be happy when you get a correct letter or solve the word.

Ive played hangman for years, starting when I was a kid with pencil and paper. Ive played nothing like this though. This hangman is the best yet, with the active victim, and how he behaves if you put a wrong letter or win. You wont be disappointed if you download it!

Played the free version on my laptop with my granddaughter the other day... we both loved it! Shes 8 yrs old... Im not. :-) She enjoyed it so much she told mom she wanted it when she hot home. We cant upload the Ultimate version to our computers until we upgrade our OS. BUT we can upload the Ultimate version to all our iPod Touches... and we have. Mom really likes that she can add granddaughters spelling words to the ultimate version for extra practice... and that granddaughter will *play* it voluntarily! All the iPods will have the spelling words shes working on & other words that she may have trouble with. The animation is on the "dark" side... but we all laugh out loud at the antics. Of course we have a somewhat twisted sense of humor. If you dont, try one of the free versions first to make sure you dont find it off-putting. :-) (I can almost promise you wont be able to keep yourself from giggling.) Im playing SAT categories and having a blast! Lots of different categories means we all have lots of options for game play! For 99 cents? Incredible!

What a great tool for teachers and students to use to review vocabulary words, if you would allow us to add and create our own word lists and categories. Would definitely be 5 stars then!

The libraries are robust, and the animations are great. What more is needed for a great hangman game? Get it already!

Fun but wish you could put spaces in the words.
